The Sam Call series of Novels.
The stories of Sam Call explore the real bond between soldiers and their families - honor - the
cornerstone of everything they believe and do, and without it, for them, there is nothing.
These are tales of real-life soldiers; not the false saga of some square-jawed fictitious war hero who
dodges bullets as he races across an open killing field of automatic gunfire and incoming rockets or kills
with the dispassion and efficiency of a ninja fighter and then delivers a speech of God and country as he
sews up his own battle wounds. These are stories of soldiers as they really are; ordinary people who
have received superior training and who are capable of doing extraordinary things at extraordinary
times. They are soldiers who have known the fear of the open killing field but charged ahead in spite of
their fear; soldiers who respect their adversary and who live by the motto of leave no one behind. Sam
Call tells the tales of real soldiers whose love of family and their fellow soldiers is as real and true as
their love of country.
Tenth Man: This is a story about two solders, one in the present and one in the past solving the same
crime 50 years apart.
