The fifth in the Sam Call series is set ion a small resort town. To the new arrival this small community
is the ideal community full of community spirit, honest people with honest values. George Bailey is a
newly retired project manager who moves to this perfect mountain community where he can escape
the non-stop activity of his corporate job, the pressure of the constant push, push, push of mega profit
seeking companies and relax in a town where people are motivated by principal and profit.
After a few months of relaxing, with hiking the prepared trails being the extent of his strenuous activity,
George began to step out of his self-imposed exile and volunteered in community activities. Taking
part in some charity activities George begins to realize his experience could be a great benefit to town
in developing programs to bring new business to the town. After George organises a small group of
mostly new arrivals to the community and they begin to develop new programs that meet with success.
The group grows and with that comes exposure. The local newspaper begins a unexplained campaign
to discredit George and his motives.
After events become personal and George is forced to call in his old friend, Sam Call to help clear his
name.
